"Pack Lightly"

I'm generally pretty good at following instructions, but for some reason I think I may have trouble with this whole "pack lightly" idea.  I first realized I had an issue when I came home for winter break- the trunk, back seats, and passenger seat of my car were packed to capacity.  After my dad helped me unload the two suitcases, 3 duffle bags, and numerous tote bags into the foyer, I just stared.  It hit me then, I had brought practically the entire contents of my apartment home for a four week stay at home.  How in the world was I supposed to pack for FIVE weeks in only ONE suitcase?!
I haven't quite figured that question out yet, but I'm working on it.  I'm proud to say that there's still quite a bit of room left in my suitcase at the moment (although I still have some laundry to do).  We'll see how this goes!
